Method
  1. Take a bowl and mix all of the mentioned ingredients in set 1 and allow to marinate for 2-4 hrs.

  2. Then, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken pieces till golden brown.

  3. Set aside and dry with a paper towel.

  4. Heat around 1 tbsp oil in another pan and add the set 2 ingredients and saute for a while.

  5. Then, add a bit of ajino motto, salt, sugar, soya sauce and pepper powder and then add the fried chicken pieces and stir for a couple of minutes.

  6. Delicious Chinese style chilli chicken is ready.

  7. Instead of the green chillis, garlic or ginger could be finely chopped and used instead, contributing to "Garlic Chicken" or "Ginger Chicken".

Ingredients:
Set 1:
Chicken - 1 - 1.5 lb cut into medium sized pieces
Maida (all-purpose flour) - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Ajinomotto (Chinese salt) - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1 (beaten)
Salt - to taste
Soya Sauce - 1 - 2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp

Set 2:
Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 5 (finely chopped as long slits)
Oil (for frying)
