Raw Banana Kofta Curry

Method
  1. Boil raw bananas along with the skin. After cooling, remove the skin, mash and keep aside. Prepare paneer.

  2. In a vessel take little oil, add rai and jeera for tadka.

  3. Add finely chopped onions, finely chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste.

  4. Then add the mashed banana, besan, salt, coorma masala and remove from heat.

  5. Add paneer chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Make them into koftas, deep fry on low heat and keep aside.

  6. For gravy, heat mixture of butter and oil in the pan,add rai and jeera for tadka. Grind onion, ginger, garlic and half portion of coriander leaves into a smooth paste and fry this in the oil.

  7. Cut two tomatoes and grind them without adding water.

  8. Add this paste to the onion mixture once oil is seen on the edges and let it fry.

  9. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, dhania powder, salt and kasuri methi leaves.

  10. Add enough water. Lower the heat and add fresh cream, coorma masala powder and remove from heat in 1-2 minutes.

  11. Take koftas in a wide vessel and add the gravy before serving. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Ingredients:
For Koftas :
Raw bananas - 3-4
Fresh paneer - 5tbsp
Onion - 1 chopped
Green chillies - 3 chopped
Ginger-garlic paste - 2tsp

FOR GRAVY :
Fresh cream - 3tbsp
Butter - 3tbsp
Oil for cooking
Onion's - 3 large
Ginger - 3 inch peace
Garlic - 3-4 cloves (big ones)
Tomatoes - 3
Coriander leaves - 2 small bunches.
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Red chilly powder according to taste.
Dry kasuri methi leaves - 2 tsp
Coorma masala 1 1\2 tsp
Rai, jeera for tadka.
