Heat oil in a kadai & add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, clove & cinnamon to it. Then add the chopped onions. Saute it till it becomes transparent. Now, add garlic & ginger paste to the onions & saute them for a few seconds.
Add the chopped tomato to it. Then add the chilly powder & the coriander powder. Saute it till it gets a slight brown colour. Now the add the lima beans & stir it well. Add a 1 1/2 cup of water to the lima beans mixture & salt to it.
Cover the kadai with a lid. Remove the lid when the lima beans curry is in a semi liquid form. Remove it from the heat.
Garnish it with chopped cilantro (coriander leaves). Happy cooking!
