By : Raka AroraWash bhindies thoroughly and drain the water. Keep aside for a while.
Mix besan and add little water and make paste to make koftas.
Now slit the bhindies. Mix the dry masalas and fill the bhindies.
Heat the oil and dip bhindi one by one in the besan mix and deep fry. Keep aside.
Grind onions, curry leaves to fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan. Add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and fry. When it becomes brown add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and tomato puree. Mix well and fry again for 2-3 minutes. Add water accordingly and let it boil for 10 minutes. Add koftas and boil again for 2 minutes. Sprinkle garam masala and serve hot with chapaties.
1.Tender bhindi 15 pieces.
2. Besan 1/2 cup.
3. Salt 1/2 tsp.
4. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp.
5. Corriander powder 2tsp.
6. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
7. Mango powder 1/2 tsp
8. Oil for frying
9. Asafoetida a pinch
For Gravy:
1. Onions 2 big
2. Garlic &Ginger paste 1tbsp.
3. Tomato puree 2tbsp.
4. Curry leaves 6-7
5. Garam masala 1tbsp
6. Oil 4tbsp.
7. Salt to taste
8. Chilli powder to taste
9. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
10. Water as desired
