Method

  1. Cut the bindi & onions into thin pieces

  2. Take a kadai, add oil and onions

  3. When the onion turns brown add the bindi & then add all the above powders &salt to taste .

  4. Fry it deeply

  5. Take a small deep pan, add ghee and mustard and when it sputters, add urad dal & curry leaves

  6. Mix all of them well adding the curd in to it

  7. Garnish with coriander leaves

Note:
This dahi bhindi will go well with chappathi & parathas.

Ingredients:
Bindi : 200gms
Onions : 1 large
Oil : 1 Tblsp
Curd : 1 Cup
Cumin powder : 1 Tblsp
Coriander powder: 1 Tblsp
Turmeric powder : 1Tsp
Red chilli powder : 1Tsp
Salt : To Taste
Coriander leaves : 1Tblsp

For Seasoning:
Mustard seeds : 1Tsp
Urad dal : 1Tsp
Curry Leaves : 4-5
