Corn Fry ‘Ems

Method
  1. Cook the corn till tender.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients, except the oil.
  3. Add enough water to make a slightly thick batter.
  4. Deep fry big chunks of the batter in hot oil on a medium flame.
  5. When the chunks are cool break each into 2 or 3 pieces.
  6. Deep fry these once again in hot oil on a medium flame just before serving.
Ingredients:
4 cups - corn
4 cups - plain flour
4 cups - grated cheese
2 cups - curd
1 tsp - cooking soda
20 - green chillies and 2” piece - ginger (grind to a paste)
juice of 4 lemons (small)
6 tsp - sugar
3 tbsp - coriander leaves (finely chopped)
2 cups - water
oil for deep frying
salt to taste
