By : Saroj KeringSlice tomatoes, onions, cucumber, potato in thin rounds.
Butter both sides of bread slices.
On one side of three slices apply chutney.
One one side of three slices apply sauce.
Place chutney slice chutney side up on a plate.
Place layers of cucumber, potato, tomato, onion.
Sprinkle some shredded cabbage, spring onion,
Top with plenty of grated cheese.
Place sauce slice with sauce side down, over cheese.
Press sandwich lightly.
Place carefully on a preheated grill of grill toaster.
Check to adjust if both plate are on highest gap level.
Grill to a golden brown, cut into 2 triangles.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
Note: Use a hot griddle to toast if you do not have a griller or oven. When one side is done, flip over carefully to toast other side.
Variation: Change seasonings as per taste and availability. If chutney is not available, use salt and pepper Or paprika and garlic salt.
Making time: 45 minutes
Makes: 6 giant triangles
Shelflife: Prepare 1 or 2 hours ahead, but grill just before required.
