Method
- Soak tamrind in water. Cut lemon into small pieces, cut green chillies.
- Add the tamrind water, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt to the cut pieces and boil till the lemon is cooked.
- Add the jaggery piece to the boiling mixture. Heat the methi seeds and powder it.
- Add this powder to the the curry. Add curry leaves and boil it well. Check salt etc. and remove from fire.
- Take a small vessel or pan, add oil when the oil is hot add mustard seeds.
- Once it splutters, add this to the curry. You can use this curry with Rice / Chapati / Dosa etc.
- This can be preserved in the refrigerator.

tamrind - 25 gms
green chillies - 5 - 6
fenugreek seeds - few (methi seeds)
a piece of jaggery
turmeric powder - little
chilly powder - as per taste
salt to taste
