Grate karela, put it in a piece of cloth and take out the juice.
Spread the grated karela in a big plate, sprinkle 1 tsp of oil and
microwave it for 4 min. stirring in between, microwave it until it becomes
crisp.( This can be preserved in the fridge for months.)
In a bowl, mix oil,musterd seeds, hing and turmrric and micro for 2 min.
Add ginger and chilly pieces and micro for 1 min.
Peel the potatoes and cube them.
Add these cubes along with karela.
Add salt and sugar to taste.
Stir and microwave for 2 min. Add lemon juice,stir and garnish with fresh coriander.
Ingredients: 1/4 kg. karela
2 medium boiled potatoes
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 tsp each of mustard seeds,hing and turmeric powder
1 tsp each ginger and green chilly finely chopped
salt and sugar to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
