Paneer Paratha

Method
  1. Make a semi soft dough with salt.
  2. Cover and keep aside.
  3. Crumble the paneer.
  4. Add coriander leaves, green chillies, cumin seeds ,red chilli powder and salt.
  5. Mix well. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  6. Roll out a portion into a small roti, apply little ghee on it.
  7. Place about11/2 tbsp of the paneer mixture in the centre of the roti.
  8. Gather the outer edges.
  9. Dip into four and roll it out into a slightly thick paratha.
  10. Roast on a pre-heated tawa on a medium flame till both the sides are golden, applying ghee (approximately 1 tsp) while turning sides.
  11. Serve hot with plain curds.

Note: All parathas can be served with a dollop of butter on them.

Ingredients:
4 cups - wheat flour
300 gms - paneer
4 - green chillies (finely chopped)
handful of coriander leaves (finely chopped)
1 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
1/2 tsp - ajawin
1 tsp - red chilli powder
6 to 7 tbsp - ghee
Sufficient water to knead the dough
salt to taste
