Carrot-Potato Pepper Fry

Method
  1. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut them into small cubes.
  2. Wash carrots and cut them into pieces to match potatoes.
  3. Dry roast pepper corns and cumin seeds, powder and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add fenugreek(sounf) seeds and curry leaves and allow to splutter.
  5. Then add the potato and carrot pieces, turmeric, salt and stir fry till the vegetables are done.
  6. Finally add pepper powder and fry for two minutes.
  7. Serve this easy to make yummy dish with love.
  8. Goes well with ghee rice and sambar rice.

Variation:
Onions can also be fried and added.

Ingredients:
fresh carrots - 2
potatoes - 2
fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
turmeric powder - 1 pinch
oil for stir frying
pepper corns as required
curry leaves - a few
salt to taste
