Method
  1. Clean and cut mushrooms and potato to equal chunks (not very fine) .Add the chopped green chillies ,ginger and curry leaves to it.
  2. Heat oil in a cooker .Saute the onions in the oil for about 3-4 minutes until transparent or slightly brown.
  3. To the sauted onions add measured ingredients kept aside -green chillies,ginger ,mushrooms ,potatoes ,coriander powder ,pepper, ,salt.
  4. Add 2-3 cups of water .Cook till potato becomes tender.
  5. Switch off the flame .Now add 2 Tbsp of any coconut powder OR Milk
  6. Don't boil the dish .Mix well and serve hot with bread ,chappatis or steamed rice or Appams
Ingredients:
oil for cooking : 3 tbsp
button mushroom : 250 gms
potato : 2-3 medium(around 250gm)
onion : 1 large ( coarsely chopped)
ginger : 1 tsp (chopped)
green chillies : 4-5 (chopped)
pepper : 1/2 tsp
coriander powder : 1 tsp
coconut powder or milk : 2 tbspof powder / 3-4 tbsp if it is milk
curry leaves : (optional)
salt to your taste
