Mixed-Bag Pudding

Method
  1. Heat the butter in a pan.
  2. Add milk to it.
  3. Add custard powder, corn flour and baking powder and stir the mixture till it is semi-solid.
  4. Add dryfruits to it in the required quantity (almost 8 pieces of each).
  5. Also using dryfruits, the top of the pudding can be decorated.
  6. It can be served hot/cold.

Variations:

  • The pudding is also served with layers of jam.
  • Generally mixed-fruit jam or strawberry or orange adds to the taste.
  • So, over the top of the pudding, add a thin layer of jam as slight variety to above puddings.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons - custard powder
2 tablespoons - cornflour
1 teaspoon - baking powder
3 cups - milk
2 tablespoons - melted butter

Dry Fruits:
almonds
walnuts
cashewnuts
dried grapes/raisins
