Rice Flakes Pudding (Aval Pudding)
Method
- Soak rice flakes in 1/4 cup of low fat milk for 5 minutes and grind it into a smooth paste.
- Boil the milk for 10 to 15 minutes or until it gets thickened.
- Add the ground rice flake batter and stir it gently. Allow it to cool.
- Pour half of the batter in a oven proof pudding bowl, spread a layer of jam over it.
- Then pour the rest of the ground batter over the jam.
- Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180*c for 10 to 15 minutes or until it changes to brown in colour.
- After tasting, feel the fantastic taste.
Ingredients:
Roasted rice flakes:
2 cups - rice flakes (strong aval)
Low fat milk - 1 litre
Any kind of jam
