Cut the onions to very small pieces(the taste improves with how tiny the pieces are) Grate the carrots, coriander and chilli and keep them separately.
Heat a pan with a teaspoon of cooking oil and fry the jeera seeds for a while.
To this add the onion and saute for a few minutes.
Add grated carrot, chili to this mixture.
Add salt to taste, turmeric powder and allow the mixture to cook for a few minutes keeping the pan covered.
After it is cooked garnish with coriander leaves and allow the mixture to cool.
Place about a table spoon of mixture inbetween two bread slices and toast the slices by applying a small amount of butter or ghee.
Now the sandwich is ready for eating.
