Method
  1. Heat butter, add ginger, garlic, lemongrass.
  2. Add vegetable stock, bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes, add carrot juice, salt.
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes
  5. Take off fire, stir in pepper, orange juice.
  6. Pour into serving bowls, garnish with a few basil leaves.
  7. Serve hot with slices of warmed garlic bread.

Making time: 20 minutes
Makes: 3 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup - orange juice
1/2 cup - carrot juice
2 cups - vegetable stock or water
1/2” piece - ginger, finely chopped
1 tiny flake - garlic, finely chopped
1 small stalk - lemon grass, finely chopped
1 tsp - butter
10 to 12 - basil leaves tender
pepper to taste
salt to taste
