Shahi Spinach Ke Gole

Method
  1. Immerse the washed spinach in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Remove and put it in plain water for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove and squeeze out the water completely with your hands.
  4. Grind the spinach coarsely. Keep aside.
  5. Dry grind the bread slices.
  6. Boil the potatoes and mash when still hot.
  7. In a big bowl mix together mashed potatoes, spinach, paneer, cheese, crushed green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, cornflour, pepper powder and salt.
  8. Mix gently. Divide into equal medium sized portions.
  9. Shape each portion into a round gola.
  10. Deep fry the spinach golas in hot oil till golden.
  11. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and French fries.
Ingredients:
2 bunches - spinach (washed well and finely chopped)
7 - medium sized potatoes
200 gms - paneer (cottage cheese)
2 cubes - cheese (grated)
6 - bread slices
4 tbsp - cornflour
5 to 6 - green chillies (crushed)
2” piece - ginger (crushed)
2 tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp - pepper powder
oil for deep frying
salt to taste
