Method
- Put all the ingredients for the Masala in a blender and grind it coarsely.
- Add raw spinach and blend it into a smooth paste.
- Wash the rice and keep aside.
- Heat ghee / butter in a pan, add all the spices & turmeric and toast it for 1 min.
- Add onions & Peas for 2 to 3 mins.
- Add washed rice and toast it until the rice is coated with ghee (2 mins).
- Add the ground masala and mix it well.
- Add 2 cups water & salt to the mixture.
Note :
You can either pressure cook or put it in a rice cooker.
