Method
  1. Soak the moong dal in water overnight.
  2. Wash and grind it to a rough paste.
  3. Add the finely chopped green chilies.
  4. Add finely chopped fresh coriander.
  5. Add salt according to taste. Mix well.
  6. Put a non-stick pan on medium heat.
  7. Put 1 tsp of oil on the heated pan and coat the pan evenly.
  8. Take 1 ladle full of the batter and spread evenly on the tava.
  9. Cook both the sides by adding oil.
  10. Serve hot with pudina/mint chutney.

Makes: 6-8 chillas

Ingredients:
2 to 3 cups - moong dal (yellow)
2 to 3 - medium sized onions
3 to 4 - green chilies
2 to 3 tbsp - fresh coriander
oil for frying
salt to taste
