Method
Roll the paneer pieces in cornmeal, coat them completely. Fry the paneer pieces in hot oil, sprinkle salt and pepper on the pieces as they cook.
When the paneer pieces are well browned, add onion, garlic, cumin, coriander powder and nutmeg. Add vinegar and stock or water. Cover and simmer for 5-10 mins. Add chilli powder and simmer for a few more mins. Add the almonds and olives. Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.

500 gms. paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
Cornmeal (yellow maize flour)
2-3 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. cumin powder
1/4 tsp. coriander powder
a pinch of nutmeg powder
1/4 cup red vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable stock or water
1 tsp. red chilli powder
2 tbsp. blanched slivered almonds
2 tbsp. washed, drained and sliced green olives
A few sprigs of fresh coriander
