Method
- Put the butter to melt over gentle heat in a heavy pan.
- Peel and slice the bananas.
- Cook the bananas and the pine kernels in the butter.
- Add the sugar and allow to caramelize a little. Add the chopped peel.
- Heat through and serve at once with a little cream or pour over plain or coffee ice cream.
