Cut the karelas into 2 halves length wise and remove the seeds from the center.
Take all the halves and apply some salt and haldi to these pieces and leave it for about 1/2 an hour.
Then wash the karelas and drain out the water completely.
Chop onions finely and keep aside.
In a pan, heat oil and add the karela pieces and fry them till they are half done.
Then add the chopped onions to the pan and let the karela pieces and onions get fried and now add the masalas together and keep frying for 5 more mins.
Then add the milk to the pan and keep it under simmer with a lid on the pan, stirring occasionally.
The milk should evaporate completely and the karela sabzi is now ready.
Serve hot with rotis and raita.
