Method
Cut the potato into cubes.
Take a pan and cook the potato.
Grind the coconut, chillies and jeera together.
When the potato is partly cooked, add the mixture of coconut, chillies and jeera to it.
Add turmeric powder to it and allow it to cook well.
Meanwhile beat the curd and keep aside.
When the gravy in the gas has come to a boil and the potato is completely cooked then switch off the gas and allow it to cool completely.
Meanwhile take a pan and heat it.
Add oil, ulud dhal and mustard.
When the mustard begins to spurt add it to the gravy kept aside.
When the gravy is completely cool, then add curd to it.
Add salt to taste and garnish it with kadipatha.
Serve it with rice during dinner or lunch.
