1 cup - gram flour/chick pea flour
1 - onion (medium size)
1/2 tsp - chili powder
1/2 tsp - ginger (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Asafoetida, a pinch
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
Oil for deep frying
For kadhi:
2 cups - curd/plain yogurt
2 tbsp - gram flour/chick pea flour
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
Salt to taste
For tempering:
2 - whole red chillies
1/2 tsp - coriander seeds
1/4 tsp - fenugreek/methi seeds
2 tsp - grated ginger
4 to 6 - curry leaves
1/2 tsp - chilli powder
2 tbsp - oil
