Method
  1. Rub ghee into the flour to get breadcrumb consistency.
  2. Fry on a medium fire till it turns medium brown.
  3. Remove from fire and cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Add powdered sugar, almonds and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add condensed milk in small quantities to get a mixture which is neither too dry nor too wet.
  6. Form into oval pinnies and leave to cool.
  7. Serve decorated with blanched almonds.

Makes: 20 pinnies
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
400 g - whole wheat flour
100 g - powdered sugar
150 g - ghee
½ tin - condensed milk
50 g - almonds, coarsely ground
a few blanched almonds for decorating
