Method
  1. Fry all the nuts and raisins.
  2. Put milk and sugar together over a slow fire and cook till the milk is reduced to one-fourths its original quantity.
  3. Remove from fire and mix all the above ingredients.
  4. Cover with foil and serve either hot or cold.
Ingredients:
1/2 litre - milk
25 g - each of blanched and sliced almonds and pistachios
1 tbsp - each of charoli and melon seeds
25 g - raisins
1/4 tsp - essence of saffron
a few drops of yellow food colouring
silver foil
1 tsp - cardamom powder to 4 tbsps. sugar
