Method
  1. Soak tuvar dal after washing for 1 hour after adding 1tsp haldi powder,and 1 pinch l.g powder.
  2. In a kadhai, heat one spoon oil, fry chillies, dhania, chana dal, methi and jeera seeds.
  3. Grind to a paste with tomato and water.keep aside.
  4. Heat a pressure cooker.add a tsp oil.
  5. Give a tadka of mustard seeds,methi seeds and a few curry leaves.
  6. Add veggies and fry for 1 minute add some water and tamarind paste .
  7. Add salt to taste,jaggery,and soaked dal.now add masala paste and mix well.
  8. Add sufficient water for dal to cook.
  9. Give two or three whistles as is necessary for dal to cook.
  10. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
toor dal - 1cup
any veggies of ur choice like drumsticks, white pumpkin,red pumpkin,potato,onion,capsicum etc either single or in combination
imli or tamarind paste - 1 tsp
salt to taste
jaggery or sugar - 1tsp
