2’’ piece - cinnamon
2 black - cardamoms (peeled)
5 to 6 - green cardamoms (peeled)
2 tsp - red chilli powder
21/2 cups - water
5 to 6 - cloves
2 - bay leaves
salt to taste
5 tbsp - oil
