Method- Heat oil in a pan. Add bay leaf and fennel.
- Then add onion, green chillies and tomato. Fry well.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add water and salt. Allow the contents to cook well or till the raw smell of turmeric powder goes.
- Now, add sprouted cooked horse gram.
- After 5 minutes, add the ground coconut and cashew.
- Switch off the stove when contents thicken.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice, chappathi, naan, etc..
Note: Horse gram is a high fibre legume ideal for weight loss.
