Method
  1. Soak the rice in water for 1 hour
  2. Drain water and dry it on a cloth for 45 minutes.
  3. Grind in the blender a fine powder.
  4. Sieve the flour. Fry the urad dal till it is light brown in colour.
  5. Grind to a fine powder.
  6. Grind red chillies and curry leaves in the blender without water
  7. To the rice flour, add butter, salt, asafoetida, urad dal powder, peanuts, fried gram, red chillie and curry leaves powder and add water and make soft dough.
  8. Apply some oil in the palm of your hand
  9. Take a small lemon size of dough and pat it a small circle
  10. Transfer it into the oil.
  11. Remove after the oil has stopped bubbling.
  12. It should be golden in colour.
Ingredients:
3 cup - raw rice
1/4 cup - urad dal
50 g - butter
oil for deep frying
2 tbsp - peanut
2 tbsp - fried gram
red chillies to taste
curry leaves, a handful
1 tsp - asafoetida
salt
