Cut plantains into halves and microwave or steam them in a pressure cooker.
Let cool and remove the outer skin.
Crumple the plantain and set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add the seasonings.
Add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and onions to the pan and fry till onions are translucent.
Now add the plantains, salt and turmeric powder and saute.
When done sprinkle grated coconut and add a dash of lime juice.
Raw plantains - 2
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 6 or 7
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Oil - 2 tblspns
Mustard, Urad dhal, Channa dhal & Hing for seasoning
Grated coconut - 2 tblspns
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
