Vegetable Lollipop

Method

  1. Blanch cauliflowerinboiling water until half done, then drain the water.Store the vegetable stock in refrigerator.
  2. Make a paste of ginger, garlic,salt and green chilies and mix the paste with cauliflower.Marinade for 3or 4 hours.
  3. Make a thick batter with maida,corn starch ,soy sauce, worchestire sauce,pepper powder, chili powder, maggi super seasoning cube,salt and vegetable stock.
  4. Add a pinch of red food color to the batter.
  5. Take a cauliflowerand dip in the batter one by one and deep fry in medium flame.
  6. Serve this dish with garlic chili sauce and fried rice or Chinese noodles.

Useful tips:

  1. Always store the vegetable stock because itcan be usedfor kneading Chapattis ,making Pulav or any gravy dishes.
  2. If you want tomake any fried stuff crispier, then add some corn starch tothe batter.
  3. Caulifloweris very good for health,it contain a substance calledindole-3-carbinol, which helps prevent cancers.
  4. Add some vinegar while boiling the cauliflower to makeit white and clean.
  5. Refrigerate cauliflower in plastic bag, it will stay fresh.

Ingredients:
20 Cauliflower florets
1 tsp Red chili powder
6clovesGarlic
1big piece of Ginger
5Green chili
1 tsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Worchestire sauce
1 tsp White pepper powder
1 cup Maida
1 cup Corn starch
1 pinch of Red food color
1 cube Maggi super seasoning
Oil to deep fry
Salt as per taste
