Instant Wheat Dosa with Wheat and Rice Flours

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Fry the mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  3. Now, add urad dal and green chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Add a pinch of hing.
  5. Once the urad dal starts turning to brown color, switch off.
  6. Mix wheat and rice flours in a wide bowl.
  7. Add required salt, crushed cumin seeds and black pepper(optional).
  8. Now add the tempered items and mix well.
  9. Add water little by little. Make the batter without lumps. It should be thin and little watery.
  10. Heat tawa. Grease it with little oil.
  11. Pour the ladle of batter starting from outside. Fill the gaps as soon as possible.
  12. Drizzle one teaspoon of oil around the wheat dosa.
  13. Once the edge of the wheat dosa starts turning to brown color, flip to the other side. Allow it to cook and take it off.
Wheat flour - 100g
Rice flour - 100g
Cumin seeds - 2 tsp crushed
Water - 400ml
Salt - as required
Black pepper - 1 tsp (optional)
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli - 2 chopped finely
Curry leaves - few
Hing - a pinch
