Cauliflower broccoli au gratin

Method

For the sauce:

  1. Melt butter in a pan.
  2. Add flour, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Stir the mixture continuously and let it cook, till it acquires a creamy consistency.

For the florets:

  1. Rinse the cauliflower and the broccoli. Boil in salt water. Drain.
  2. Place on a baking dish.
  3. Pour sauce over the cauliflower and broccoli. Sprinkle with grated cheese and let it brown a little in the oven. Serve hot.

250 gms cauliflower
250 gms broccoli
Grated parmesan cheese

For the sauce:
200 ml milk
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
a pinch nutmeg
Salt and pepper, to taste
