Green Chilly Chutney

Method
  1. Mix all the above ingredients along with a little water and grind to fine paste in a mixer
  2. Serve with cucumber slices/raw mango slices
  3. You may even squeeze some lime juice over it when serving it with cucumber

Note:

  • This is a very popular chutney used by the street vendors to smear cucumber, raw mango slices, or even used for making bhelpuri.
  • This can even be used as a sandwich paste between slices of bread and vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 bunch - coriander leaves, washed well without the stalks
1 bunch - pudina/mint leaves, washes well without the stalks
8 to 10 - green chillies (this you can vary as per your tolerance to spice)
1 small ball - tamarind, soaked in water
6 to 7 - garlic flakes (peeled)
5 to 6 - medium sized onions diced
1 small piece - ginger, peeled and chopped
salt to taste
