Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds.
- When they stop spluttering add urad dal followed by curry leaves and crushed pepper, fry them for a min.
- Add the chopped onions and saute until they turn translucent.
- Now add the potatoes along with salt and sambar powder.
- Stir it well and allow to cook in medium flame for about 10 mins.
- Remove from the heat and serve it hot.
Ingredients:
2 medium sized boiled potatoes
1 onion
1/2 tsp of peppercorns (crushed)
1 tsp. of mustard and urad dal
1 tsp. of sambar powder
A sprig of curry leaves
Salt
