Method
  1. Fry pepper, red chilli, coriander seeds, channa dal, urad dal in a tsp of oil.
  2. Allow to cool, add tamarind pulp, washed curry leaves, salt and hing.
  3. Grind all together in a mixer
  4. Add three cups of water and boil for 15 mins.
  5. Serve with rice.
Ingredients:
1 tsp - black pepper
1 tsp - urad dal
8 - red chilli
2 tsp - coriander seeds
1 tsp - channa dal
4 tsp - tamarind pulp
1 cup - curry leaves
hing/asafoetida, a pinch
salt to taste
