Method
  1. Saute all the ingredients in a kadai with the oil till red and gives out an aroma.
  2. Cool completely.
  3. Grind all this to a fine powder.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup - urad dal (black gram split)
4 tbsp - chana dal
4 tbsp - cumin seeds
� tsp - asafetida
� tsp - fenugreek seeds
1 tbsp - black pepper
5 to 6 - dry red chilies
1 tbsp - coriander seeds
8 to 10 - curry leaves
2 tbsp - oil
