Mushrooms On Toast

Method
  1. Wash the mushrooms well and slice.
  2. Lightly heat butter in a sauce pan.
  3. Add the crushed garlic and saut� for few seconds.
  4. Add mushrooms and saut� on a medium flame till all the water from the mushrooms evaporates.
  5. Add the cream and cook on a low flame till the cream thickens.
  6. Remove from gas. Add the grated cheese and mix well.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, green chilli and parsley. Mix well.
  8. The mixture should be thick in consistency.
  9. Toast the bread slices.
  10. Spread generous amount of the mushroom mixture on each toast. Serve hot.
Ingredients:
6 - bread slices
11/2 packet - mushrooms
2 tbsp - butter
125 ml - fresh cream
6 to 8 cloves - garlic (crushed)
2 - green chillies (finely chopped)
1/2 cup - fresh parsley (finely chopped)
4 cubes - grated cheese
salt and pepper as per taste
