Grind ingredients 1-5 in a mixer [do not turn it to paste, should be shredded form]
Add the oil in a kadai or a large frying pan. Add the wet masala masala. Add the dry spices and tomatoes & salt. Cook it for 15 minutes on slow flame.
As the oil separates from the masala add sliced pav or bread [preferably pav] and turn the sides of the bread to get coated with masala properly.
Turn down the heat to minimum and sprinkle little water and cover it with the lid.
Remove from the fire as the seyal bread is soft and ready. Serve with papad & onion rings.
1.. 1 bunch of fresh green Coriander leaves
2.. 1 inch Ginger
3.. 2 table spoon chopped Garlic
4.. 4 Green Chillies
5.. 1 medium size Onion
2 large Tomatoes chopped
1 table spoon Dry Coriander powder
1/2 tea spoon Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
