Cut the slices into triangles like sandwitch and apply butter on one of its side.
Arrange the slices in a baking tray keeping the buttered side down, making a single layer. Now put a pan on slow fire and add the remaining butter into it.
After butter melts, add maida,fry for a short while.
Now add chilled milk, keep stiring it till the mixture is smooth, creamy and thick. Now take it off from the fire and add grated cheese, onion, capsicum, salt and pepper.
Apply this mixture on the slices arranged in baking tray.
Bake these in a very hot oven for about 10 - 15 minutes, or till the toasts are crisp and golden brown.
Serve with Tomato Sauce.
