Method

  1. Boil potatoes, peal of the skin, and mash it.
  2. Add boiled green peas,some coriander leaves, ginger/garlic paste, green chillies paste, sugar, lemon juice, garam masala, salt to mashed potatoes.
  3. Mix it well and set aside.
  4. Now on a sandwich bread spread evenly above mixture on one side.
  5. The mixture layer should not be more than 1/4 cm of thick.
  6. Sprinkle some of the Arrow-root powder on it and lightly press the mixture so that it binds with the bread.
  7. Repeat same with other breads and keep aside.
  8. Heat a pan on medium flame, sprinkle some oil to make the pan surface oily. ( Do not put too much of oil ).
  9. Now toast the bread on both side with mashed potato mixture side first.
  10. Toast until it becomes golden brown on both side.
  11. Repeat with all other breads.
  12. Once the bread are toast , spread tomato ketchup on it, sprinkle chopped onions, some amount of sev and two or three coriander leaves.
  13. Cut the toast in to two and serve hot.

Ingredients:
8 Sandwich breads
3 Medium size potato
2 Medium size tomato finely chopped
2 Onions finely chopped
4 green chillies
100 grm frozen peas
2 tbs of ginger and garlic paste
1/2 tbs of lemon juice
1/2 tbs of sugar
1/2 tbs garam masala
4 tbs of Arrow-root powder or All-purpose flour
Oil to saute the toast
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Fine Sev 100 gms for garnishing
