Puffed Wheat Pizza Topping

  1. Preheat oven to 350oC, for 5 minutes.
  2. If pizza base is too thick, warm and press down to flatten.
  3. Add puffed wheat to gravy, spread over pizza base.
  4. Top, first with onion, then capsicum.
  5. Garnish with grated cheese, grill in hot oven for 5-7 minutes.
  6. It is done, once base is crisp and edges golden.
  7. Remove, cool a little, before serving.
  8. To serve, cut with pizza cutter, or scissors into quarters.
  9. Serve hot and crisp, with ketchup.

Makes: 1 pizza

1 recipe pizza base (refer recipe index -- Italian Dishes)
1/2 cup pizza gravy (refer pizza recipes -- Italian Dishes)
1/2 cup puffed wheat
1 onion thinly sliced
1 tbsp capsicum chopped finely
1/4 cup mozzarella or processed cheese, finely grated
