Broken wheat rava upma

Method
  1. Finely chop onion, tomato, carrot, ginger and chilli.
  2. Heat oil, temper mustard, dals, peanuts, curry leaves and broken red chilli.
  3. Add onion and chilli and fry for 3 mins.
  4. Add tomato, carrot, ginger, rava and salt and fry for 2 more mins.
  5. Add one and a half cups of water and stir well.
  6. Cover and cook on a low flame for about 8 mins or till done.
Ingredients:
200g - broken wheat/samba rava
1 - green chilli
1/2 inch - ginger
1 red chilli
1 - onion
1 - tomato
1 - small carrot
1 tsp - oil
1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
1/2 tsp - urad dal
1/2 tsp - channa dal
1 tsp - peanuts (roasted/raw)
Salt to taste
1 sprig - curry leaves
