Dalia with green pea and carrot

Method
  1. Heat 1tbsp ghee in a pan on low flame, add Dalia, stir till it becomes golden brown, remove it.
  2. Heat the remaining ghee in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds, as they begin to change colour, add the garlic, chilli, ginger, onion and saute till pink; add the green peas, carrots and tomato and saute for one minute.
  3. Add the Dalia and three cups of water; add salt to taste.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, give it full pressure. Remove heat.
  5. Stir in the butter and coriander leaves and serve at once.
Ingredients:
1 cup broken wheat (Dalia)
1/2 cup shelled green peas
2 small carrots, diced
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
5 garlic cloves, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1/2 tsp ginger, chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 tbsp butter or 1 tbsp ghee
