Spicy Corn and Mushroom on Toast

Method
  1. Melt butter, fry onions till light brown.
  2. Add mushrooms, fry till soft.
  3. Add Chilli powder, garam masala and kasoori methi.
  4. Stirfor few seconds. Add flour, fry for � minute.
  5. Add tomato puree, fresh cream, corn, salt and sugar.
  6. Simer for 5 minutes. Serve hot on toasts.

* Kashmiri chilli powder imparts a richer colour.
** Dried fenugreek leaves.available in super markets in packets. If not available, use a pinch of dried oregano.

Ingredients:
Butter - 4 Tbsp
Onion - 1/2 cup, grated
Button mushrooms - 100 gms, sliced
Chilli powder * - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Kasoori Methi * * - 2 tsp
Flour ( maida) - 1 Tbsp
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Tinned Sweet corn kernels - 1 cup, drained
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
