Method
  1. Knead the paneer into smooth mixture and form into small round and flat cakes.
  2. Prepare a thin syrup from sugar and 1 litre water.
  3. Remove from fire when done and cover and set aside whole night.
  4. Next morning, place the milk and remaining sugar on a slow fire and cook till the milk is reduced to three-fourths of the original quantity.
  5. Remove from fire, cool and beat to a smooth mixture.
  6. Drain out the syrup from the balls of the syrup, cover with foil and put into the milk.
  7. Sprinkle essence, nuts and cardamoms on top serve after 1 hour, this sweet also lasts for a few days.
Ingredients:
500 g - paneer
2 kg - sugar
1 1/2 litres - milk
� kg - sugar
50 g - each of blanched and sliced almonds and pistachios
a few drops - either essence of rose or saffron
1 tsp - cardamom powder
