Method
- Heat oil in a pan and add bottle gourd pieces, cumin seeds, green chilies and saute well for 5 minutes.
- Then add curry leaves, turmeric, asafoetida, sambar powder and mix well.
- Keep the mixture on medium low flame for 5 more minutes and turn off.
- Keep aside to cool. When the content cools down, blend into a fine paste by adding lemon juice and salt.
- Add very little water if needed.
- Great tasting chutney is ready!! Enjoy this yummy chutney with either rice or chapathis.
