Gongura leaf chutney

Method
  1. In a pan, heat oil and fry all the ingredients except mustard.
  2. Grind to make a coarse paste.
  3. Temper mustard seeds separately and add to the chutney.
  4. This chutney can be had with rice or dosa.

1 cup - stem-free gongura leaves
4 - red chillies
2 - green chillies
1/2 tsp - fenugreek seeds
Aa pinch asafoetida
1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
4 tsp - sesame oil
1/2 tsp - salt
