Kathirikaai (Egg Plant ) Thuvaiyal
Method
- Heat the egg plants on the stove till they are cooked.
- Put all the other ingredients in a kadai and roast it for 2 minutes.
- Peel the skin of the egg plant and add it to this.
- Grind the mixture coarsely in a mixer.
- This can be mixed with rice.
Ingredients:
3 - eggplant
1 tsp - bengal gram dal
1 tsp - urad dal
1 tsp - coriander seeds
6 - dry chillies
a pinch of asafoetida
salt to taste
